Obsessed: Emma Watson's Makeup

Hello, readers. I have a confession. I'm a bit obsessed with the makeup Emma Watson wore while recently shooting for her campaign as the new face of Lancome. While out and about in Paris, Emma was spotted wearing her hair in a slicked back look with a distinct part. Her brows are bold and so are her lashes. Emma kept the look natural with subtly smokey eyes and sheer foundation--sheer enough to let the freckles on her nose shine through.

Finally, Emma added a bit of color with bright and spring-inspired berry lips. They look more dewy than glossy, which I love. This look has got me so inspired, I'm actually going to be sporting a berry lip tomorrow because I loved how it looked on Emma. I'm thrilled to see what the final campaign will look like. I have such high expectations now!

Christopher Bailey and Friends

Fashion designers. They're the rock stars of the fashion world. And just like rock stars, its hard to think of them as people outside of their work for their label. Most people are familiar with the names Versace, Armani, Gucci, and Chanel but if challenged to pick the designers behind those brands most would surely fail.

What do designers wear in their free time? And who do they associate with? Just recently those questions got stuck in my brain. And so I got inspired and with a few clicks of my keyboard I got my answer. But I couldn't just stop there. No. I had to blog about it because that's what good bloggers do.

I started with Christoper Bailey because I adore his work. I wrote this post last night and I found it really interesting so I wrote four other like them. I plan to post them in the future when I don't have time to write or when I'm just un-inspiried. So keep an eye out for them. Aren't designers just fascinating?

Thank you for reading. Please check out my second blog and follow this one [if you feels so inclined]! I'll be back tomorrow as usual. Did you like this post? Leave thoughts in the comments.

Emma Watson + People Tree

This is the last collaboration between Harry Potter heroine and style icon, Emma Watson, and the well-known fair trade fashion company, People Tree. But have no fear, Emma is set to collaborate with Alberta Ferretti for Spring 2011 to create an organic collection. Fashion mixed with a great cause. Is there anything better?

Click here to see the complete collection and to check out the People Tree website. Free Trade is a wonderful way to support developing countries and to promote better treatment for those who are making the garments you and I take for granted. What to learn more about fair trade? Click here.

Emma Watson's Street Style

Good morning. Today I decided to take a look at Emma Watson's street style. Not a big surprise considering the title. :) This is going to be really quick because I have to go soon so forgive the super short introduction.

Emma proves that airport fashion can still appear effortlessly chic. Slip into a navy pea coat and simple black skinny jeans. Flats to keep things comfy and a brilliant bag and Parisian beret to keep things fashion. This is the way to travel in style. For a night out on the town, Emma look beautiful in a crisp white dress worn with a a blazer and tights for warmth. Really, stunning.

Another comfy, yet incredibly chic look for the young Brown student. With a bit of a tousled hair style, she paired it with slightly masculine inspired. checkered shirt and comfy sweater. Add a pair of cute skinny jeans and a wonderful studded bag. Plus, those white framed sunnies are so unexpected. Emma looks so comfy in her beige pea coat paired with jeggings, biker boots, and a knitted infinity scarf. A brilliant smile doesn't hurt either.

Emma also likes to rock animal print. On a sunny day, Emma decided to go out in a simple outfit of jeans and a cardigan. Emma decides to keep the accessories simple with only a cross-body bag and a light animal print scarf. On this night out, Emma opted for the always chic color--black. To break up the monochromatic look, Emma picked a classic animal print shirt. I also adore her chic beret. Perfect for these colder months!

I hope you liked today's post. I'll talk to you guys later! Please follow using bloglovin' or GFF! Also don't forget to check out my Facebook fanpage for up to the minute news about all things Viva La Fashion. :)
