Style Highlights: Emma Stone

Emma Stone sparkled as the cheeky red head girl in Easy A. Emma made the not-so-recent transition from a proud ginger to an even prouder blonde for her role in the upcoming Spiderman movie with Andrew Garfield. Am I super nerdy that I'm so excited? Please leave your favorite look in the comments below!

Emma looked amazing in this plum dress! I especially love her fringe. I know that not everyone will agree with me but I think this Chanel dress is so unexpected, so chic, so unique. Plus, I have to commend Emma for finding a pair of shoes that match her dress to perfection.

Emma is lovely in Lanvin. I remember seeing this dress on the runway and thinking that it would look stunning on the red carpet and Emma didn't prove me wrong. I adore the faux-bob hairstyle--her makeup is to die for. I also love the fact that Emma didn't try to overwhelm the look with too many accessories. Less is truly more in this situation.

I don't know if its just the dress but Emma looks SO tan. I adore the shimmery appearance of the material and how it looks in the long column design. The golden chain around her neck is so chic. I love the Grecian inspired hairstyle and simple makeup. I believe this was the first time I saw Emma's blonde hair and I thought she looked wonderful.

Be brave and embrace the baby blue! Sigh. This outfit was the reason I decided to write this post. I NEEDED to write about this look. There is nothing I would change about this look. I adore the fuchsia lip. I cannot tell you how much I love Emma's fuchsia lip. Perfection!

Mia Wasikowska + Michael Fassbender for W Mag

Most people know Mia Wasikowska know as Alice from Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. But she's slowly becoming a fashion icon in her home, Australia, and her in the states. She and Michael Fassbender are starring in the upcoming, Jane Eyre, based on the book of the same title. And I had to share their spread for W Magazine with you. It's beautiful.

Style Highlights: Anna Wintour

Although Anna Wintour needs no introduction, I'm going to write one anyway. Throughout the almost two-year history of my blog, I've barely mentioned her in any of my posts [not on purpose. i promise.] I am actually a little embarassed. She is a fashion icon and this is a fashion blog, ergo I should talk about her more. But never fear. I'm going to be changing my ways starting now.

Dress Like Ashley Tisdale

This is a fun post I did while I was still on winter break and I never published it. I hope that you like it and I hope the links are still fresh. I'm sorry if some of them are no longer working. This past week I have becoming [a little] obsessed with The CW show, Hellcats. Full episodes are available on their website and that was what I did yesterday when I should have been finishing my art project.

I have also re-dedicated myself to my second, and more personal, blog. I know that not everyone is interested in my day-to-day life but its there for anyone who wants to check it out! I'll see you guys tomorrow.

Best Dressed: Critic's Choice Awards 2011

The 10th annual Critics Choice Movie Awards happened last week. And I was surprised at the high caliber of style that emerged in this prestigious award ceremony. This is my best dressed post for this event with the ladies listed in no particular order. Who is your favorite?

Mandy Moore shines in a plum Monique Lhuillier gown [left] and Eva Mendes stuns in a lace Valentino mini [right].

All of them look stunning. I hope that your weekend is going great. I'm ready to enjoy my three-day weekend--until I have to start writing my English essays on Monday. Oh, English. You'll be the death of me.

J. Crew Equestrian Boots

Good morning. Today's post is focused on Lauren Conrad. Maybe you've heard of her? :) I can't wait for her new show to start on MTV. In my my humble opinion, I think it'll be better than The Hills. Drama for drama's sake isn't entertaining. It's just frustrating. But what do you think? Are you excited?

Introducing Miss Mulligan

Carey Mulligan was recently interviewed for an article in Vogue. In the article I found her charming and humble. I wish the article had been more about her and less about what other people thought of her but it was intriguing to hear the story about how this English Rose has started to blossom.

The photography was amazing. So many Haute Couture gowns. So much drooling on my part.

When asked by her trainer what she wanted to look like she responded, "I don't want to look like an actress; I want to look like a person." Mulligan wearing Dior Haute Couture gown.

"This need to trump everyone bewilders me. I'm only 25. I'm not better than anyone." Mulligan in a Balenciaga gown and necklace [left] and Givenchy Haute Courture tulle dress [right].

"At 25 I shouldn't be doing the easy stuff. In the future, when I have responsibilities and a family, I can do the conventional stuff." Mulligan in Nina Ricci [left] and Dior Haute Couture jacket with Prada pants [right].

"When I was fifteen, I had vivid dreams of acting with Judi Dench...[then on the] first day of Pride and Prejudice, there was Judi Dench." Mulligan wearing Valentino Haute Couture [left] and Haute Couture Chanel [right].

Carey is one of the stars of the new movie, Never Let Go, alongside Keira Knightley [Pirates of the Carribbean] and Andrew Garfield [The Social Network]. If you want to see Carey's red carpet style, click here.
