The Big Bang Theory + Christian Louboutin

I didn't watch the Golden Globes this weekend. Gasp. I was browsing twitter and that was what everyone was talking about. I feel so out of the loop. But I wasn't feeling too well and so I spent the day eating ramen and watching The Big Bang Theory. I was a bum. But I'm still feeling a little lazy, so today's post is really, really short. Sorry.

I adore these brown booties. They're perfect for spring/summer. Recently I've been starting to transition my wardrobe for the coming season--even though the winter weather is adament that it won't be leaving anytime soon. It's just cold and wet where I live. But preparing for the future is a good thing, right?

Imagine pairing this boot with a nautical inspired blue and white striped shirt or a floral summer dress. Sigh. They would look so good. I love the color black, don't get me wrong, but I recently wrote a post from a lovely girl named Abby and it made me fall in love with chocolate accessories. Click here to the see the post. It's one of my favorites from the new year.

That's all for today. I told you it was going to be really, really short. I have two English papers to write and of course I procrastinated. What else is new? Please check out my twitter and my Facebook page. Links are in the sidebar. And don't forget to follow my blog through bloglovin' or Google Friend Finder. Thanks for reading! Bye.

Just Another Friday

Yay! It's Friday...again! :) And a lot of people seemed to like my random Friday. They're not going to be fashion-related necessarily but they're just going to be...well, random. :) I'm sorry that I haven't been posting because I've been so sick.

I'm sorry. All I've been doing is sleeping, eating, and going to school. That's all I have the energy to do.

First Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams are on the cover of W Magazine promoting their new movie Blue Valentine. Its a romantic drama about how love transforms over time. Can love last the time when they want different things?

I adore Ryan Gosling. Hello, The Notebook? It was amazing. :) Sigh. I'm a sucker for love. Are you? But my guy friend, whenever I talked about Ryan Gosling only refers to him as Number 48. Yeah, he's a total guys' guy. :)

In Eastern China in an attempt to prevent loitering and to give everyone a chance to sit and enjoy nature, they're put benches in the park that require you to pay to sit down. You put money into the box at the bottom and when you're time runs out spikes with come up out of the seats and poke you. My English teacher told me about this.

What are your thoughts on that? Would you pay to sit on a bench? Click here to learn more.

This walrus can do better situps than I can. :) He's so cute and my sister showed me this video earlier this week and it made me smile. Something I haven't been doing because of the throbbing in my head. I hope it made you smile too.

If you can't see the video just click here. By the way, can you see this video. Tell me in the comments, please. :)

My focus this weekend is to get better and I'll be back next week, I hope. :)

Random on Friday

TGIF!! :) Tonight is another football game. Woohoo! We lost our first game so hopefully we win? Or maybe not lose as badly. There's always hoping. Today I should probably post about something fashion related. Because, well duh, this is a fashion blog after all.

But I feel like mixing it up a little today. Today's post will be completely random and really make little to no sense. :) I hope you guys enjoy and if you don't, I'll post another fashion post tomorrow or on Sunday. I promise! :)
__
I found this on youtube! It's the coolest--okay maybe not the coolest but its still pretty cool. Thanks Randon93! You're my favorite too. :)

[ugh. i can't get the video to appear so I'm just going to post a link. i hate it when technology lets me down] :(

My friend sent this picture to me in an email and I cracked up! The cat even has Robert Pattinson's pasty skin and steamy, smoldering stare. I don't know how people have time to do this type of thing but I guess I blog about fashion and other people enjoy dressing up cats like famous celebrities. Who am I to judge?

I don't mean this as a diss to Robert. I do enjoy the Twilight series. :)

Have you been watching Hellcats. I only caught one episode but I don't know if I like it or not. The drama with the cheer coach wasn't that interesting. I reserve the right to form an opinion until I've seen another epsiode. But, question: Does Martie ever wear a shirt that covers her belly?

Good thing she lives in Memphis otherwise she would get cold. :) [wow. i sounded really stupid just now]

Plus did anyone see Karlie Kloss on Gossip Girl on Monday! I guess I was completely out of the loop and I was sitting there thinking, "Wow. That girl looks just like Karlie Kloss. No...wait! That is Karlie!"

Oh, sometimes I'm so behind the curb. And I guess, that's the first random Friday. Let me know if you want more. If you want less, tell me. I can handle it...I think.

Chic Clothespins

Don't forget to check out my giveaway! You might win a $200 Target giftcard! :) Yes. That could be you.

Lauren Conrad. The words that come to mind are chic, fun, and fresh. Lauren has stepped away from The Hills as a style icon--or at least my style icon!--and has managed to stay sane despite her overwhelming fame. Unlike some of her coworkers. I'm not going to mention names...

I'm going to create a Lust List involving her line from Kohl's because I think its simply stunning. :) But that's not what I'm going to talk about today. I'm here to talk about clothespins. But not just any clothespins but chic clothespins. I know I sound a little crazy right now but I'm going to explain.

Doesn't Lauren look ready for Summer? I really wish it would get warmer but its still practically freezing. And its not like I live in Alaska or anything. I live considerably more south. A lot more south. But the summer fairy has refused to come visit my city. Ugh

But random tangent over. :) Back to the picture. If you look closely you'll notice that there is a unique print on her clothes. Yes! They're clothespins. See I told you this would all start to make sense. ;)

Who would've thought that a clothespin dress could look so stunningly chic? Not me. Well, the main point of this post is to say that I've decided to be more adventurous. I'm going to start a style revolution--okay, maybe the word revolution is too strong of a word--but I'm going to be more open-minded.

Lately, all the things I've been buying--or wearing--are practically the same thing. I'm in a style rut and I've known about it for a while but I've just haven't had the energy to do anything about it. But that's going to change.

I'm not going to change drastically. No emo makeup for me. Or Lady Gaga get-ups. But school shopping is the perfect time to take chances. I know a few of them won't work but every once in a while, a clothespin dress will come along and it'll look fantastic. I'm going to start picking up a few things hre and there.

Wow. This is a really deep post. Deeper than I think I've ever gotten. Tomorrow I'll do an "I Love My..." post to lighten all the intense thinking that's been going on in my brain. Hope you liked my post. See you tomorrow! Buh-bye! :P

Elephant Love Medley

Warning! Warning! Absolutely random blog ahead. Continue reading but know that you've been warned. ;D

Okay, to start off my random blog I'll start with a topic close to my heart. Coldplay! Of course.

I saw the picture above on Coldplay's offical website and I fell in love. By the way, I'm a huge Coldplay fan. :) I love their music. And they're one of the few bands that I actually like. Normally I just like one song but not the band. You know what I mean?

I love Clocks, Viva La Vida, Yellow, and Green Eyes! Sigh. I mean how can you not? <3

But the reason I love this piece so much is because it sort of reminds me of Moulin Rouge! Its the bright red in contrast with the neutral background. The couple is adorable. I like to think its Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman. The actual artist would probably cringe if they ever read what I was saying but this is just my interpretation of the piece.

Moulin Rouge is amazing movie but I wouldn't advise watching it if you are prone to seizures. Its a visual roller coaster to say the least. :) If you only listen to one song off the soundtrack it has to be the Elephant Love Medley. The song makes me smile every time. Its a combination of all these loves songs to make one fantastic melody.

Moving on to another completely random topic. But what to talk about? Hmmm...I know! I might be going to California this summer to visit my cousins. I'm so excited but I'm trying not to get my hopes up because it's not a set plan. It's still in the "wouldn't it be nice?" stage.

I'm going to keep my fingers crossed! :) Do any of you guys live in California? What should I do when I go there?  **End of random blog**

Hope it wasn't too boring. :) I have a special blog for tomorrow. Be sure to check back. I'm thinking it might be a giveaway... :D Bye!

Viva Goes Fourth!

Jessica Alba

Happy Fourth!! :D Jessica looks almost perfect for Independence Day. She isn't decked out in an American Flag but I would wear that outfit. :) I'm actually wearing something really similar. But its a striped top and a solid blue skirt.

My friend, she's an exchange student from Spain, got American flags on  her nails. I loved it! :) It's not something I would do but it was so her. She's so fearless in her style chioces and she has this ability to make her choices look completely classy and chic rather than trashy. I'm a little jealous.

I don't really have anything specific that I'm going to talk about but I thought I'd just sit down and something would hit me. I hope this works.

I just started reading Tori Spelling's new book, Uncharted TerrTori. I love reading her books because she's funny and she's not afraid to poke fun at herself and her situation. She writes the way she talks. And its a really quick read. I have read her other two books and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

If you're looking for a funny, leisure read then head to the library and check out her books. I can't recommend them more. Honestly. :) They're amazing.

I was playing tennis yesterday and I rubbed through my tennis shoes. I actually rubbed a hole in my sock. :) I desperately need to get new ones but I just don't have time. I've never worn through shoes this quickly. I got them two/three months ago. It took me two years to kill my converse.

Oh, and I was also wondering. Has anyone seen Toy Story 3? I really want to see it. I love Pixar movies. Up was amazing! But I'm just wondering how good was Toy Story? Thumbs up? Down? Comment below!

A haul will be up tomorrow or Monday. I promise! :) It's from a while ago. So I'll also be able to talk about my thoughts on the products. Whether I think they're worth the money or not. Oh, and my June favorites will be up soon. Again, I promise. :) What're your plans for the 4th?

Upon Reflection

Its over. I'm no longer a junior in high school but I don't feel like a senior. I know it might sound odd but I don't want to be a senior. All my friends are so excited because...well, I'm not quite sure why they're excited to be seniors. Maybe I should ask.

I don't want to grow up. I want to stay in high school forever. I can drive. I can see rated R movies by myself. I don't pay rent. What else more do I need? Okay. That's an exaggeration. I do want to grow up. I'm just not ready yet. I need more time and maybe by the end of next year I'll be ready. :) I really hope so!

So I decided to reflect upon everything that's happened to me in the last year. This year in photos. A lot of stuff has happened to me. :)

Going Abroad Alone
Last Summer I went to Australia and New Zealand with a bunch of kids for an cultural experience. It was the single coolest experience of my life. I've never been outside of the U.S.--well, other than Canada but I only live a few hours to the border. It was the longest time I'd ever spent without seeing by parents. I was odd but cool, if that makes any sense.

Blogging Machine
I don't have a picture of me blogging and I'm too lazy to take one but I think the title is a little self-explanatory!

Football Season. Go Rams! :)
Not on the football team. I'm just a huge supporter. Love it when football season is in the air.

It Didn't Snow...
Christmas this year was so much fun. Despite the fact it didn't snow. We didn't get one snow day. Not a single snow day. Sigh. But I played a lot of tennis and it was nice. Really, really nice. :) Christmas is my favorite time of year!

On a Scale of One to Ten
I didn't take this picture. A girl on the team did. It's so cool! But anyway, Tennis season was deffinately a highlight. Love those girls. <3

Hello, Mr. Disney
This was our hotel. We stayed at the Coronado Springs Disney Resort and I loved it. Sigh. I wish I could go back! Its still pretty cold where I live and it was so nice to have 90 degree weather. Maybe it wasn't really 90 degrees but it sure felt like it! :)

It's Over. But I Can't Go Back.
Thanks for making this year the best that it could be. I've met so many amazing people on blogspot this year. I never thought I would get so close to so many people. :) Thanks, again.

Nothing Comes Close to the Gloden Coast

What is my wardrobe sorely missing? A fringe jacket. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have forced me to come to this realization. I saw these pictures of them sporting this stunning black fringe jacket and I just knew that I needed one just like it. :)

Mary-Kate Olsen

Ashley Olsen

I'm also in love with Ashley's shoes. They look like their studded. Adorable. I'm all about the details. :) But back to the topic at hand. I neeeeed a fringed jacket. Wait, come to think of it I don't think I own anything that is in anyway fringed. Jeez! Where have I been? :) Don't worry I'm going shopping this weekend and I plan to pick something up.

Sigh. But I don't know if I could pull off a fringe jacket. Hmmm....I don't know. :) Comment below if you think that I could pull off this look. Please be honest. My feelings won't be hurt. I'll just be forced to admire from afar.

I don't really have anything to talk about so this will be a little random. And hopefully interesting. But bear with me.

School has finally come to an end! Thank goodness. I am just so burned out. But I promised myself I would try to complain less and try to stay a little more positive. So I'm going to talk about some songs that I've been loving. I don't know what it is but I've been obsessed with Katy Perry lately.

California Gurls and If We Ever Meet Again. Oh my gosh! These are the best summer songs ever! Katy is so fun and I love the fact that this girl doesn't take herself too seriously. I mean, did anyone see her blue hair at the MTV Movie Awards? So amazing. I loved it.

Has the music video for California Gurls come out yet? I know that I looked for it a last week but I'm too lazy to look right now. And as soon as I post this I will not be able to resist and I'll head over to YouTube. :) I saw the sneak peak and I'm really excited. :)

But oh! Speaking of music videos: Has anyone seen Lady Gaga's music video for Alejandro? Suuper awkward. But I mean, I kind of expect it. It is Lady Gaga. I think it would almost be weirder if she just put out a normal music video. One with no men in fishnets and high heels. But that's probably just me. :) But I still love her music. <3 Bad Romance!

Anyway, I know that this was totally random. I had no idea what I was going to write about when I sat down but I think it turned out pretty decent. It's like the In-Class write that you don't prepare for but get a 'B' on it. It's not an 'A' but you'll take it. :)

I'm planning a Victoria Secret Fragrances Lust List. My sister and I went to their store this past weekend and I literally wanted everything in the store. VS PINK is a girl's best friend. Who needs diamonds when they have a Victoria Secrets gift card? :)

Bye guys! Please Follow me! :)
