Sally Hansen's Mint Sorbet

Hello! Happy Wednesday! My "Share the Love" post will be up later today. Before that is published, I have a few swatches of my new favorite nail polish of the moment! It's the Sally Hansen's Mint Sorbet. When I'm typing this I keep looking at my nails and I smile. It makes me feel like it's finally spring!

Here are more pictures of the nail polish but I'm working some different hand poses. This is the first time I've ever used a product from the Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear collection but so far I'm pleasantly surprised. This is day three and my nails are still holding up. The pictures were taken on day one. Sidenote: Digging my Mickey Mouse silly band? Got that in my Easter mailbox too!

The brush is very wide--which I always love. Small brushes are just difficult to use sometimes. And the consistency was creamy and really easy to work with. I was also impressed that I only had to use two coats to get a beautiful and uniform color. Sometimes I find that pastels are really sheer in drugstore nail polishes. Maybe I've just had bad luck.

I'm in sort of a crazy nail polish craze lately. Please comment below with your favorite colors. Also don't forget to follow this blog and check out my second one, Thoughts of a Fashionista!

OPI Femme de Cirque Nailpolish Collection

I recently did a blog about my first impression about these nail polishes. If you want to see that post, simply click here. But I got several requests that I swatch the colors...so I decided to go for it.

From left to right: Step Right Up!, So Many Clowns...So Little Time, In the Spotlight Pink, & I Juggle...Men.

My favorite color is still So Many Clowns. In the Spot-Light Pink is beautiful bubble gum pink, so soft, so beautiful. I know I talked about this in my first impressions post but I really do think I Juggle...Men is the perfect color to give to a little girl who is just getting into nail polishes. It is a super beautiful and incredibly subtle sparkle with a blue-ish tint. I adore!

Here are just a few more photos with different hand poses. I love how OPI didn't go bold or crazy with their colors because it was circus inspired. These colors are perfect for spring because they're soft and subtle that will look stunning with any of the bright colors you choose to wear.

As you can see with the swatches above, So Many Clowns...So Little Time & Step Right Up! are VERY similar. I don't think you need both. But I think if you want a more nude-y polish go for So Many Clowns. It's my personal favorite. But if you want a more pinky undertone then Step Right Up! is for you. My sister prefers Step Right Up! I think it's all about personal preference. Both of them are very beautiful but I don't know if they're different enough to justify buying both.

Final thoughts? This collection is so pretty. It is timeless. I can't imagine a future when these colors won't be wearable. Plus, I feel that they transcend seasons. I could wear these colors in the fall, winter, spring, and summer. I know that some people won't appreciate these shades because it isn't in your face but I adore them.

OPI So Many Clowns...So Little Time

Today, I have another obsession. OPI's newest collection, Femme Fatale, has just been released. It has a bit of circus theme and I adore the entire collection. I Juggle Men is a beautiful sheer, icy color that will add sparkle to any other polish you might have or look stunning on its own. Step Right Up is a super soft shade of pink that is perfect for any girl who wants a bit of color on their nails while looking completely natural [this is my little sister's favorite!]. In the Spotlight is a baby pink that is really quite beautiful.

While I loved all the colors, So Many Clowns...So Little Time is my absolute favorite! It is a soft, cream color that is almost white but not quite. I have worn this on my nails everyday since I got it. I haven't fallen in love with a nailpolish like this since I picked up my first OPI nailpolish, Got a Date To-Knight.

If you want to see swatches of all of these colors, click here. The lovely Beauty Bites has swatched all of them in beuatiful detail. This is the perfect spring color to wear. It won't clash with any of the bright colors you might wear. I think this collection is perfect for anyone who might be buying a little girl their first nailpolish. The color payout is great but the colors are super natural.

Also, don't forget to check out the OPI website. They have amazing tools to help their customers pick out the shades that would suit any skintones or nail length. I love the Try It On tool. Leave the name of your favorite nailpolish in the comments below!
