You Are the Thunder

Fun tag time. Yay! Just got my butt kicked at tennis practice today. Way too much running. Gosh, if I wanted to run so much I'd have joined track. Jeez. :)

I saw this tag on Hope's blog, A Day in the Random Life of a Random World. She didn't exactly tag me but I saw it and I kind of tagged myself. I hope you don't mind. :)

Here it goes:

If I were a gemstone, I'd be a diamond.

If I were a scent, I would be Juicy Couture's Viva La Juicy.

If I were a pair of shoes, I'd be a pair of converse. Preferably blue or black.

If I were the weather, I'd be lightly snowing.

If I were a facial expression, I'd be laughing.

If I were a car, I'd be a  blue Honda Civic. :)

If I were a time of day, I'd be midnight.

If were a month, I'd be June or December.

If I were a place, I'd be my home.

If I were a liquid, I'd be milk or a Hawaiin Sun.

If I were a taste, I'd be sugary sweet!

If I were a sea animal, I’d be a starfish.

.If I were a food, I’d be spam musubi. Yum!

If I were a color, I'd be purple.

.If I were a musical instrument, I would be a bassoon.

If I were a flower, I’d be a rose.

If I were a song, I’d be an up beat song people could dance to.

If I were a planet, I’d be Pluto. And yes, I still consider it a planet!

If I were an object, I would be a tennis ball.

If I were a fruit, I'd be a apple.

If I were a sound, I’d be the sound of a giraffe. Cool, huh?

If I were a day of the week, I’d be Saturday

I love tags. They're so much fun! And I tag everyone who wants to do this. It'll be cool to see everyone's responses. :)

Today was my sister's first water polo game. She didn't actually play but she was amazing rooting on her team. Go Rams! :)

I have over 300 followers! Can you believe that? Oh, its so exciting. :) I can't believe it. I don't remember exactly when it happened but that doesn't mean I'm not overjoyed. In honor of this major accomplishment I'm going to be hosting a giveaway. Check it out! And enter!

Have a nice Wednesday. :)

Am listening currently listening to Somewhere Only We Know by Keane. I think I've talked about it in one of my older posts. (Found the post! Its this one.)

Still love this song but I haven't listened to it in months! Gosh such a long time. :)

Happy almost Pi Day. Ya know, 3/14. Like 3.14? The first digits of Pi? Its this funny thing at school where if you memorize the first twenty digits of Pi after the decimal you get a piece of pie. Pi day landed on a sunday so the math department of my school celebrated on Friday.

Most of you are like, "Wow! How lame." But is there really anything lame about free pie? I don't think so. :)

Anyway, have a nice weekend! :D Bye! Please Comment and Follow! :)

Divine Diane

Diane is a stunning woman. I first noticed her in the movie, National Treasure and I couldn't help but notice. iin the movie she helped Nicholas Cage find a hidden treasure. But in real life Diane also helps Jason Wu bring his creations to life. I really want to see her latest movie with Brad Pitt. It looks really good. Have you seen it? If so, what did you think?

She has worn his work many, many times and every time she is stunning. Here is a look Diane's ability to make Jason Wu's beautiful clothing come to life. Recently I have become obsessed with Jason Wu. Sorry, if it seems like every other post I'm talking about him. He's just amazing. :D

At CFDA Awards in New York. Wearing Swarovski-embrodered Jason Wu Dress,
Tom Binns Bracelets, Strappy Heels and Roger Vivier Clutch.

At Neiman Marcus Preview of Spring 2010 Jason Wu Collection. Wearing One-Shouldered
Jason Wu Cocktail Dress, Eddie Borgo Gem-Encrusted Bracelets, Satin Sandals,
and Black Clutch.

At 2010 SAG Awards. Wearing One-Shouldered Jason Wu Gown, Harry
Wintson Gems, and Kotur Clutch.

I love each look for a completely different reason. The black sleeve caps on the first looks is ingenious. And the print of the second look is stunning. I love, love the color of the final look. Its so rich and unexpected. :)

Who's your favorite designer? Have you ever heard of Jason Wu?

If you don't know already, Jason Wu was the man who designed Michelle Obama's Inaugural Ball gown. It was stunning. :)

Just watched the Eclipse trailer at Stephenie Meyer's website. Here's the link to her website. :) It looks really good! (Yes, I love Twilight) But I'm a little upset that they changed the girl who played Victoria. I'm not stupid I can tell that its not the same person. Duh...

I hate it when they do that. Just like what happened to the sequels to the Prince and Me. The first movie was cute. Sigh. Love European boys with adorable accents. :) But the next two movies sucked! Yuck. I couldn't even get through the second one. I couldn't believe it.

But whatever. Maybe I could try not to notice. Not like that could ever happen but there's always hoping...

Oh, well. Tennis practice was cut short due to rain. Darn the bi-polar weather and so I decided to run three laps to get some exercise in for the day. That way I can eat my bag of cheeto puffs with not as much guilt. Hahaha.

Have a nice almost weekend. Just think. One more day. (And for me, two more tests! ugh.) Bye. Please Comment and Follow! :D

In Blue Too

This is part two of my cobalt obsession. This color is just so eye catching and just stunning. I'm a huge fan of bright and bold colors. Especially on the red carpet. I really do wish that I had an excuse to wear these dresses. They're all just so stunning.

I'm sorry if you are sick of this color. :) Just bear with me. I'm sure my obsession will end soon. But you have to admit that Rachel looks stunning at Fashion Week. And I'm in love with Ginnifer's hair. It's so chic. :)

Rachel McAdams at the Proenza Schouler Show. Wearing Sleevless Colbalt Blue Dress.

Ginnifer Goodwin at the 2010 Golden Globes. Wearing Vionnet Dress, Brian Atwood
Pumps, Judith Leiber Clutch, and Neil Lance Jewelry.

Natalie Portman at Cinema Society Screening of Brothers. Wearing Cobalt Blue Jason Wu
Dress, Satin Bag, Aldo Peep-Toe Shoes, Tiffany & Co. Jewelery.

Eva Longoria Parker at The Rally for Kids with Cancer Scavenger Cup.
Wearing Cobalt Blue Dress and Taupe Pumps.

Question. Does anyone know why the red carpet is red? This is probably a really lame question but I'm just wondering...
Bummed that the Olympics are over. Ugh. Now how will I spend my nights after tennis practice? Hmmm...maybe I should blog more. :) Sounds like a good idea.

Congrats to all of those great Olympians. :) I'm a big Shaun White and Shani Davis fan. And Lindsey Vonn is amazing! I was watching her when she won her gold medal! :) It was incredible. Especially considering she was still recovering from her injury.

Has anyone heard of the new, well kind of new, single by Selena Gomez of her album Kiss and Tell? It's called Naturally. Imagine my shock when I discovered this song was sort of, kind of catchy. It's like what happened with Miley Cyrus' song, Party in the USA. I didn't want to like it. But it was just...hard not to like it, ya know?

Hahaha. That's what I'm currently blasting on my ipod. What song are you obsessed with? Please, please tell me. I seriously need more music because I fell like I'm listening to the same five songs over, and over again. :) Help me get out of my music funk!

Jac Minus Jill

Jac, aka Monika Jagaciak, is stunningly beautiful! I love this girl's walk and her look. One word: Stunning!
According to IMG Models Jac is still in developement but with a contract as the face for Calvin Klein I don't think she'll be in development for long. :) Here are some shots from her French Vogue editorial.

In September 2009 Teen Vogue called Jac a rising star and I agree completely! Just hit up the half-priced bookstore and got sooo much stuff. Lately I have been obsesed with books. I literally have a pile of twelve books sitting next to my bed waiting to be read. (I just counted).

Sigh. I love reading. :) In some good news, I made the tennis team! Yay! Second cuts were today. Kind of nerve wracking. But I got through them alright. But it snowed today! It has snowed once this entire year. One time! We haven't even had a snow day. But then the crazy weather decides to snow once tennis starts.

Thanks weather woman for the warning. And then by the end of the day it was suuuper sunny. But then it hailed. Hmmmm....bipolar much? Hahahaha.

Do you like money? Do you like Lady Gaga. Well, then check out this post from Danielle at The General Specific. It made me smile. :)

Who's your favorite model? Do you appreciate bipolar weather as much as I do? Note my sarcastic tone. Please Comment and Follow! :D

Pop of Purple

Since I was born in the 90's, I have to admit to a few things. I thought DVD's were a fad when they first came out, I was addicted to Saved By the Bell, and I listened to the Spice Girls. Do you guys remember when you  had to rewind VHS when you wanted to watch them? Do you guys remembered when boy bands and girl power ruled the world?

I loved Spice Girls' songs, Say You'll Be There and Wannabe. Hey, I was a typical girl of the 90's. What can I say?

My posts lately have been seriously nostalgic lately. I think its because this past weekend on the band bus, me and my friends Maddy, Jenny, and Violet started talking about when we'd first met each other. Isn't it crazy to just think about a time when some of the most important people in your life weren't a part of it? In the grand scheme of things Jenny, Maddy, Violet, and I haven't known each other long but I feel completely comfortable with them. :)

Okay, moving away from this. Most of you don't care but this brings me to the post at hand. I really do adore Victoria "Posh" Beckham. I watched her documentary, Victoria Beckham: Coming to America, and it was so funny. Although I do admit she is a little too skinny.

Anyway, this is yet another "I Love My..." posts and it features Victoria and her Hermes Kelly Bag in Raisin.

At the Claridges Hotel in London. Wearing Hermes Kelly Bag, dVb Black Skinny Jeans,
DSquared Patent Peep-toe Lightning Bolt Pumps, and dVb Sunglasses.

At Heathrow Airport. Wearing Hermes Kelly Bag, Dolce and Gabbana Lace Jacket, Christian Louboutin
Platform Patent Pumps, Rolex Day Date Presidential Wristwatch, and dVb Sunglasses.

At Heathrow Airport. Wearing Hermes Kelly Bag, Balenciaga Coat, Christian Louboutin
Platform Patent Pumps, Rolex Day Date Presidential Wristwatch, and dVb Sunglasses.

I love the color of this bag. Its just gorgeous. :) Purple is my favorite color after all. Her face looks kind of odd in the second picture but I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt and I'm blaming it on the lighting. Hahaha. :)

I am a very loyal fan, I've realized. Who were your favorite stars of the 90's and the early 00's?

Tonight we're having Old Spaghetti Factory! That stuff is so good. I always get the White Clam Sauce whenever I go there. Do you guys like Italian food? Its my favorite, tied with Mexican. :)

Please Comment and Follow! :)

Cobalt :)

This color is amazing! :) I'm in love. Hence the fact that I'm dedicating an entire blog post to it. It still doesn't overcome my favorite color (purple) but its a very close second. I just fell in love with Ashley's dress. :) Sigh.

Ashley Olsen at the InStyle and Warner Brothers Golden Globes After Party. Wearing
Erdem Minidress with cobalt Rhinestoned-Buckled Pumps.

Halle Berry at the London Premiere of Things We Lost in the Fire. Wearing Cobalt
Versace Gown and Amrapali of Jaipur Jewelry.

Ali Larter Pre-Emmy Party for Heroes. Wearing Satin Dress, Silver Jimmy
Choo Heels, and Diamond Bracelet.

Robin Wright Penn at Photocall for A Christmas Carol. Wearing Matthew Williamson
Jacket from H&M, Simple White Tank, Strappy Sandals, and J Brand Black
Skinny Jeans.

I think I did really well on my math quiz. I actually understood the material. That's always good, right? :)

Tomorrow will be a relaxing day, I hope. Tonight I just have to continue to make my way through Brave New World. Which is surprisingly a good book. Despite its super weird/creepy/random parts. I like it.
.
Do any of you have sisters that like to pretend they're your mom? My sister totally just spent five minutes ranting and raving about how messy our shared bathroom was. Ugh. And I'm like, Hello? Half of the stuff on the counter is your stuf too! So frustrating...

She's my little sister too...Shouldn't I be the mother-like sister?

Anyway, just learned my cat can open doors. She's super smart, well obviously. I mean she can open doors. I thought this was the coolest thing ever. Are most cats able to open doors? Or is she just suuuper talented? Please tell me. I don't want to brag to all my friends and then learn that its completely normal.

Sigh. APUSH Test on Thursday. Yuck. :/ I got to get studying. Bye! :)
