Versatility is the Spice of Life

Hola. :)

Another long day--its super hot where I live. I'm not used to living in 80 degree weather. And I need to remember to wear sunscreen. I'm horrible. Well, I remember to put it on but I never remember to reapply. That's just as important.

Well, I was tagged by the wonderful writer of sketchbook six. :) I love tags. That's probably why I do them all the time. If I ever go into over tag mode--just tell me.

Okay, I have to post the award and then list seven random fact about me [that'll be hard]. Then I pass it on.

Okay...now I have to list random facts. I never know what to write and what constitues as random. Hmmm....

1. I'm a dedicated farmer--sort of. I have a little vegetable garden in my yard and I love it! :) I water it everyday and I'm impatiently waiting for the veggies to start and appear.

2. I'm sunburned right now. [it hurts really bad!]

3. I love watching teen-drama shows [ex. Pretty Little Liars, Gossip Girl, Make It Or Break It, Glee]

4. Next week I'm going to start volunteering at my local animal hospital. My dad won't let me get a dog and this is the chance to get to see some. :)

5. My room is an ugly sea foam green color. I need to paint it.

6. During the school year, my friend and I have a system where each person will buy a pack of gum from Costco and then they'll provide the gum until the pack runs out. Then its the other person's turn.

7. I like to have a clean room but I'm hardly ever motivated enough to actually clean it. A lot of times my mother needs to intervene and tell me to get moving.

Yesterday I had a complete heart attack! :) Last night my computer wasn't charging and I was convinced that my computer had finally gone to the computer store in the sky. I almost cried. There is so much stuff on my computer that I could never get back!

But thankfully I was having a complete blonde moment! I was charging my computer by the coach and I had it plugged into my sister's charger--it wasn't plugged in and so it wasn't going to charge. Geez! :) I'm beyond relieved right now.

How many of you have seen Eclipse? I really want to see it but I have to wait until Monday. Ugh. It was the only time it worked for everyone. But should I see it? Was it good? Please comment below.

I'll talk to you guys later! :) I'm going to go to Old Spaghetti Factory tomorrow. So excited! :) It's literally my favorite restaurant. I simply adore the white clam sauce. Oh, its sooo good.

Five Times the Fun

Gina from anything ima[gina]ble tagged me for an award. She's one of my daily reads and I love that she has the same taste in music that I do. Everytime I go to her blog, I know that I'll love the music she has playing. Random little fact just in case you wanted to know. :)

It's my birhtday!! :D

The first CD I bought with my own money was Britney Spears' Oops!...I Did It Again. Wow. That was a long time ago. Good times. Good times.

Random Fact Number 3

I'm unwillingly addicted to Twilight. I didn't ask for this. All I wanted was to pick up a book to read on the plane to my grandma's house and the small Borders in my town was where my obsession with Edward Cullen started. Yes, I know he's a character not a real person. But a girl can dream, can't she? ;)

Random Fact Number 4

I've been taking Japanese for two years and I cannot speak it--at all! I'm not even kidding. I know all these words but I don't know how to string them into a sentence...

Random Fact Numer 5

I find Spider Solatiare to be very relaxing. With my music and my cards, I can never go wrong. :)

I'm off to celebrate my birthday! :) So excited. I'm seventeen which means that I can legally go to rated R movies now. So exciting! And only three more days (not counting weekends) before school gets out. Yes! :) It's about time.

It's a picture I took on my trip to Australia. :) I had so much fun and I loved the pictures. So, of course, I just had to take a picture. My friends loved it.

Normally an 8. But it depends on the brand.

I'm a full-time student. So...nowhere. :)

Um...my dark washed jeans. I personally believe that a great pair of jeans are simply priceless.

Yes. Three cats. Moemie. Zoey. No-No. I love 'em all. Especially when they cuddle with me.

Just one. Sister, that is.

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?

I couldn't decide so I picked two. I visited New Zealand last summer and completely fell in love with the place. Its gorgeous and the people were so friendly and kind. I want to go back as soon as possible. And I could spend the rest of my life listening to the New Zealand accent. Sigh. :) And I love my Grandma's house. It's the only place, aside from my own house, that truly feels like home.

What were you doing before this?

My life is so exciting. I was doing homework.

It's a tie between Spam Musubi and pizza. Yum!!

Yup! But I won't tell anyone. Its horrible. Really, I'm not even kidding. Just call me Lane. :)

I'm Back!! I had such a blast in Florida. :) I rode the new ride in Animal Kingdom, Expedition Everest, like ten times. Literally. I loved that thing so much! :)

I could go on forever about my trip but I won't bore you guys. Just know that I had so much fun. I want to go back. Sigh. my vacation was too short. :(

I'm not sure if I know what a socialite lit book is. But my favorite chick lit books are anything written  by Meg Cabot. She's so funny and I know that when I pick up one of her books I'll laugh. Does anyone want to tell me what a socialite lit book is?

Today was my sister's first water polo game. She didn't actually play but she was amazing rooting on her team. Go Rams! :)

Color Splash

My favorite color is purple. :) I've loved it since before I can remember and I contune to love it to this day. (I just no longer have a purple backpack, binder, pencil, pants, shirts, bedspread, etc.)

Anyway, when Nik (please check out her blog) color tagged me I was so ready to show my purple collection to the world. :) As I wandered around my house I finally realized how many purple things I posessed.


Basically I had to find and photograph 7 purple things in my house. Hmmmm....I think I'm up to the challege. So here it goes....



1. Purple Bubble Top from F21. :)




2. My stuffed elephant dubbed "Humphries". He's just chilling on my bed.



3. My purple contact holder. Use them everyday. :)




5. Purple Fleece Blankets that my mom keeps in her car just in case it breaks down. Not quite sure why its in the house. If you look closely you can see Humphries hanging out in the background. :)





6. Purple Luffa (I'm sorry if I'm spelling this wrong). Looking at this picture it looks a little tattered and I think I might need a new one. :)


7. A 3/4 sleeve shirt from Aeropostale. Nothing really special about it except...well, it was the second purple shirt I could grab. :)
