Miss Knightley

Even though I have zero foot-eye cordination, I fell in love with the movie Bend It Like Beckham. Actually its one of my all time favorites. :)

This was the first time I'd ever seen Keira Knightley in action but it sure wasn't the last time. I loved the first Pirates of the Carribean Movie even if the next two movies were beyond confusing. I just didn't get them.

Anyways, Keira Knightley is the covergirl of Elle magazine and here are some shots from the shoot. :)

Have you guys ever run so hard you thought your lungs would burst and your legs would crumble? I just finished running almost two miles with my friend May, whose on the Cross Country team. I think I've talked about her.

My legs are sore but I guess this is good cross training for tennis season, right? I don't know. Right now I just want some Coldstones and a glass of milk. Wow. :) That was random.

I don't think I've mentioned my obsession with Coldstones in a post. Well, I have a confession. I'm addicted to that stuff. It's just sooo good. I know its horrible for you but...I just can't help myself. I have no self-control. hahahaha. ;)

My favorite is Cake Batter with pie crust and brownies. Yum!

Oh, for those living in the states Happy President's Day!

What's you favorite flavor of ice cream? Please, Please, Please Comment and Follow! I really like hearing, or should I say reading, what you guys have to say! :D Thanks.

In Love With Love

Hola, ladies.

In the March issue of Seventeen magazine, the one with Lauren Conrad on the cover, there is a coupon for free samples of VS PINK's perfumes. So yesterday my sister and I headed to our nearest VS PINK store with our Seventeen Magazine and picked up the free samples.

You got three tiny, and by tiny I mean tiny, containers of LIVE PINK (Yellow), WISH PINK (Pink), and HOPE PINK (Blue). My favorite scent is LIVE PINK. I think I might even get a bottle of the full container but I haven't decided yet.

Isn't the container so cute? I love it. :)

This offer is only available while supplies last and I don't think every VS PINK is participating. So be sure to check online before you go. But its free perfume.

Random thought but do you ever notice that if soemthing is free you want it. Like if I'm at a fair and they're handing out free things, I grab everything even though I know I won't use it. When things are free they're just so much more appealing.

It was kind of awkward because the lady I talked to about the free samples had no idea what I was talking about. :) Let's just say it took a while to find and get the free samples.

Today I went shopping with my dad because he waited to the last minute to buy his Valentine's Day gift for my mom. sigh. :) When will guys learn? I have no plans for Valentine's Day other than watching a ton of chick flicks and then tomorrow I'm off to a friend's hosue to work on a school project.

What's the point of having a four day weekend if one of the days must be dedicated to finishing a school project. Urgh. :(

Just a fun, quick question. But are you a romantic or a cynic? I'm just curious. :) Please Comment below. :)

Happy Valentine's Day!! :D

Part Time Job

Have you guys heard the song, "Need You Now" by Lady Antebellum? Right now, I am like obsessed with this song. Like, seriously. Even though I'm not usually into country music (well, other than Taylor Swift) I really like this song. Its so catchy. Need you know....

Well, here's another "I Love My...." post. It features Vanessa Hudgens and her Balenciaga Part Time Bag.

Walking to a Business Meeting in L.A. Wearing  a Balenciaga Part Time Bag,
Unknown Tights and Black Coat.

Out on Valentine's Day. Wearing Balenciaga Part Time Bag, Louis Vuitton Key and Change
Holder, Urban Outfitters PE V-Neck Tee, Unknown Red Cardigan, Skinny Jeans, and Ballet Flats.

Out Shopping with Ashley Tisdale. Wearing Balenciaga Part Time Bag, Gara Danielle 162
Inch Chain with Black Onyx and Bronze Pearl, Lovely Simple Long Kint Cardigan.

Out with Her Mom on New Years' Day. Wearing Belnciaga Part Time Bag, Unknown
Skinny Jeans, Scarf, Jacket and Silver Ballet Flats.

On a side note, why do I find cheesy dance/cheer movies so entertaining? I mean the Bring It On Series and the Step Up Movies have so much cheese in them but I still love them. I'm just sitting here watchin Step Up 2. Its currently at the intense part where the MSA Crew is battling it out in the streets.

I know, my movie taste is extremely gansta. Hahaha. :) A small part of me wishes that I could do flips or break dance. But I realize that I'm too afraid of breaking my neck to do that kind of stuff. Oh, well. :)

Peace Out. Have a great weekend. Please Comment! :)

Summer With Alice and Olivia

I just got done seeing the previews for The Last Song and I find myself longing for the summer. I long to hear the waves crashing on the beach with the sun's warmth on my back. I want to feel the sand between my toes. Sigh. I cearly don't live by the beach. Plus its so cold where I live, even if there was a beach no one would go swiming anway.

Or at least no sane people would. Well, my longing for summer has transformed into a lusting for Alice + Olivia's summer-y dresses.  They're adorable and if one pairs them with cute tights and a jacket/cardigan they could be put to use during the Winter/Spring.

L: Kaleigh Striped Tank Dress      R: Polka-Dot Trina Tunic

Parker Tank Dress with Open Weave Scarf.

L: Olivia Origami Bustier Dress     R: Taryn Twisted Halter Dress

When will summer get here? Ugh! I just want the school year to end.

It seems like I've been super thristy all day. I mean no matter how many liquids I consume I'm still like super thristy. Its really weird and I don't know whats going on. Hmmm....I don't know.

On a somber note I'd just like to say RIP Lee Alexander McQueen. You were a force in the fashion world and will be missed.

Bye ladies.

Review: Dear John

This weekend I went to go see Dear John. I was sooo excited. I went with my friends May, Maggie, Jenny, and Maddy. I just noticed writing all of their names in a row that I have a lot of friends with 'M' names. Hmmm...weird. :)

Maybe my epectations were unnaturally high but I was disappointed. In the follwing post I may unintentionally write a few spoilers, so I'm going to say it now. These are just my thoughts about the movie. SPOILER ALERT!

If you haven't seen the movie and don't want to know what happens...just don't read any further. Anywho, the trailer, in my opinion, was amazing. They used music to their advantage and this may sound weird...but I got goosebumps one time when I was watching it. I'm still in love with the song, 'Fire to the Third Bar'. Its just so pretty.

But at the movies I was literally quoting the movie with my friend Maggie. It was super funny. Or at least we thought it was. But then the movie came on and I thought there was jsut too much going on. First, there was coins, autism, cancer, love, heartbreak, the military, father-son relations, and it was just too much!

There was this weird part when a movie montage went straight into Amanda's character playing guitar and singing. If you've seen the movie then you probably know what I'm talking about. It was a awkward transition to say the least.

Lastly, what great love story ends in a hug? I don't know. And I was not expecting her to marry Tim. Tim? I didn't see that one coming.

Okay, my rant is over. These are just my opinions and I don't claim to be a movie expert. This was just my thoughts. I really liked the people who played the main characters though. They were really great! I'm not just an annoying blogger who has nothing nice to say. :)

The music from the soundtrack was really great. :) And the setting was stunning! I loved the movie up until the point when John went abroad for the second time. Sigh, I think I just kept comparing Dear John to The Notebook.

Anyway, just finished running. Super tired. I'm currently watching Keeping Up With the Kardashians. This show is hilarious. XD

My mom says that Bruce reminds her of my dad and my sister is just like Khloe. Our life isn't as exciting as theirs but we're funny. At least I think so. :) I'm going to go read Dear John or The Last Song. I haven't decided which one I'll read though.

Peace Out! Please Comment and Follow! :D

Movie in the Making

How well do you know Lauren Conrad? For about a year I was an avid fan of The Hills. It was my favorite reality TV show. Well, until I discovered the amazing-ness of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Oh, those girls are so funny. :)

Anyway, Lauren Conrad is the covergirl for Seventeen Magazine's March issue. She has amazing style and if you've been reading my blog for any length of time you'll know that I simply adore the clothes in her closet. :)

(I need to stop putting smiley faces at the end of every sentence!) :)

Okay, so today I'm a little bored. But I don't have the energy to do anything but sit on my bed and surf the net. I'm exhausted. Note to everyone: running when you're are sick is not a good idea. Thanks a lot Ms. J. She was my tenth grade aerobics teacher and she told me that when you sick and you exercise a ton it sweats the sick out of you.

Well, lets jsut say it doesn't. I thought her statement was weird but I figured I'd give it a shot and I'd also promised my friend May I'd go running with her. Let's just say we didn't get very far before I had to stop or else I'd have knelt down and died.

Here's a clip of Lauren Conrad playing Two Truths and a Lie. It was so cute that I had to give you guys a link to it. I really enjoyed watching it.

Anway in the link she said that her book, L.A. Candy, was being turned into a movie! How exciting is that? I haven't read the book but I'm still excited. She also talked about her new book  Sweet Little Lies. I'm going to borders this weekend to pick it up.

At the same time I'm going to pick up another book,  Brave New World, because of course two days after I place an order for school books, my english teacher assigns a book project.

Yuck! :(   <---Can you tell I'm not happy?

Check out the link and have a great day! Four day weekend is coming up!! yay! :) Isn't it sad that its still the weekend and I'm already waiting for the next weekend to come around? Sad, I know. :)

Little Girl Grown Up

Abigail Breslin was recently interviewed by Luke Crisell for Nylon Magazine. Have I mention that I absolutely love this magazine? Anway, you can read part of the interview on the website or you can read the full interview in the February issue of Nylon.

Abigail looks so grown up! I mean its hard to believe that she's the same little girl from Raising Helen and No Reservations. Its also really hard to believe that at the age of thirteen she's already appeared 18 movies and countless TV shows.

Here are some pictures from her interview.
This just reminds me that time is passing by so quickly. It won't be long before Ms. Breslin is the leading star of a romantic comedy or action movie. She's growing up so quickly but then again, aren't we all?
