Ellen is probably my favorite day-time talk show host. And Victoria Beckham is one of my favorite style icons! So you can probably imagine my delight when I heard the best of both worlds were coming together [sort of] when David was interviewed on Ellen's show last week. :)
Didn't see it? Well then wait to the end of the blog to check it out. First, I thought this was a perfect opportunity to check out a few of Victoria's best fashion moments. There were so many that this was hard to choose.
Victoria Beckham in Miu Miu [left] and military-inspired pants, black blazer, and grey top [right].
Victoria looks amazing in this three-toned Miu Miu dress. Her nude Louboutins and chunky Lanvin chain are the perfect neutral accessories. Louder accessories would have easily overpowered her dress. There is not a single thing I would change.
Some people say the military trend is over-done but I'm still in love. Victoria is an expect at mixing neutrals. The green pants are totally unexpected but they work with that black blazer and grey top. She's wearing the same Louboutins from the previous outfit but, in a test of their versatility, they look just as amazing in the second look.
Victoria Beckham in Victoria Beckham [left] and Marc by Marc Jacobs [right].
This look is totally Victoria. Its fashion-forward, simple, and serious. She loves dark colors. This is one of her own creations from the Victoria Beckham Collection. Tons of stars are in love with her work. This trench inspired dress is sexy with the collar and low neckline. Her makeup is simple and let's all the attention focus on her creation.
This Marc by Marc Jacobs look is fun and energetic. Together the bow and the bright colors make this look a complete departure from her usual style. The dress has a fairly simple cut but the use of pattern takes it to a whole different level. Her navy blue pumps are an unexpected pop of color. Victoria is a girl that knows how to have fun with fashion.
Finally here's the clip! Enjoy. :)
