Little Girl Grown Up

Abigail Breslin was recently interviewed by Luke Crisell for Nylon Magazine. Have I mention that I absolutely love this magazine? Anway, you can read part of the interview on the website or you can read the full interview in the February issue of Nylon.

Abigail looks so grown up! I mean its hard to believe that she's the same little girl from Raising Helen and No Reservations. Its also really hard to believe that at the age of thirteen she's already appeared 18 movies and countless TV shows.

Here are some pictures from her interview.
This just reminds me that time is passing by so quickly. It won't be long before Ms. Breslin is the leading star of a romantic comedy or action movie. She's growing up so quickly but then again, aren't we all?

Book Haul

This shopping spree started out with pure intentions. I had planned on only buying books for school but then I saw other books and...well, I folded and I asked my mom for them.

Well, let's start with the books I bought for school:

Cracking the AP: United States History Exam. Looks fun, right? Hahaha. Well, the AP exams are in May and I'm already forgetting all the stuff I learned in September and even in December. We did our Mock 80 and I realized that I knew nothing. Nothing! Let's just say I was a little nervous. :)

Hard Times. Again, this book is for my APUSH class. This class' workload is insane but a apart of me likes it. I mean, I find history fascinating. And I really like learning all of these things. I don't know. :) I guess I'm just a history nerd. But Mr. H said if we read a outside class history-related book and wrote a report we got extra credit. Hey, I have to raise my grade somehow.

Dear John. Finally, books that I might enjoy reading. Most of you might know that I am so excited to see this movie. :) I still haven't decided if I want to read the book before of after. It looks so sad and my friend has already read it and she blew through this book very quickly. I hope its as good as I think it'll be.

The Last Song. This is a book that will be made into a movie. I know I sound like a broken machine but I'm so excited. I loved the Notebook and A Walk To Remember. Nicholas Sparks is amazing. I know that someone will die, I prepared for it. And sometimes I just need a good cry. His books are the ones I turn to.

L.A. Candy. I love Lauren Conrad's style and she was amazing on the hills. I know this book has been out for so long but I just haven't gotten around to reading it or even buying it. I've heard good things and I hope her writing ability is as good or better than her ability to put together an amazing style. :) Her new book came out this month and so if I like this one I will definately check out Sweet Little Lies.

Ok, I know this post wasn't what most people expecting but I'm an avid reader. I mean I spent all winter break just reading book after book. It was a nice change of pace from my hectic school schedule. Weird. I know.

Anyways, if you've read any of these books tell me what you thought. Please Comment and Follow! :D

Engineer Boots

Lately Miley Cyrus has been seen around wearing these adrobale Frye Engineer Boots. They seem to add a hard edge to any outfit and Miley makes them work whether she's wearing jeans and leather jacket or a simple black dress with funky tights.

Did I mention that I really like her tights? And her faux fur Michael Kors vest? Simply stunning!

In London. Wearing Frye Engineer Boots, Roberto Cavalli Tiresia Cunglasses, Gucci Icon Bit Medium Boston Bag, Michael by Michael Kors Faux Coyote Fur Vest, Citizens of Humanity Shredded Skinny Stretch Jeans.

In New York on Sex & the City Set. Wearing Frye Engineer Boots, American Apparel Cresent Pattern Fishnets, Jimmy Choo Marina Messegner Bag, Unknown Leather Jacket and Black Dress.

Heading to her Hotel in Backpool. Wearing Frye Engineer Boots, Stoney Clover Lane Luck & Love Bracelets, Topshop Leopard Print Faux Fur coat, Giorgio Armani Calf-Chevron Print Tote.

Out in Paris. Wearing Frye Engineer Boots, Roberto Cavalli Tiresia Sunglasses, Giorgio
Armani Calf-Chevron Print Tote, and Doma Cropped Washed Leather Biker Jacket.

Anyway, I was so obsessed with these boots I went online and I tried to find them. And I did! Oh, I was so excited. They're $188 dollars and that's a lot of money. The only way I can get them would be if I saved up my birthday money. Which is about five months away.

I was so bummed! But oh, well. If I don't love them in five months, they probably weren't worth the money anyway. Here's a link to the Frye website and the Frye Engineer Boots in Black.

Apparently this brand was featured in O magazine. So they must be a reputable brand. I mean Oprah doesn't put just anyone in her magazine. :)

Vamp It Up

It's finally here! The Vampire Diaries is starting to show new episodes! Yay! Wow, I'm using a lot of exclamation points here...I think I'll stop. Anywho, last Thursday was the premeire of the newest episode.

I didn't get to watch it because I was studying for my APUSH test on Friday. Yuck!

But I'm going to watch it online at CW.com as soon as I get the chance. Oh, I'm so excited. Well, in the latest issue of Nylon the stars of Vampire Diaries are on the cover. Here's a look at some of the photos from their shoot. Enjoy! :)

At first I didn't think either guy was that cute but now...I think they're starting to grow on me. :) I just started reading the book and its completely different than the show. In the book she's a blonde. Weird....I know. :)

Vampire Diaries airs on Thrusdays at 9 Pm on CW TV. :)

Oh, Chanel Bag

A Chanel Bag is a girl's best friend. And a certain Chanel Jumbo Classic Flap Bag is definately Lauren Conrad's best friend. :)

She has been seen out and about with this bag so many times...well I couldn't possibly have put all of the photos on this blog, so of course I picked my favorites. :)

I love seeing how someone can take a single accessory and create so many great outfits. I really do admire Lauren's personal style. Let's be honest she's just amazing! :D

Arriving at People's Revolution. Wearing Chanel bag with DVF tunic, Chole leather and wood high-heel sandal, and American Apparel nylon leggings.

In Beverly Hills. Wearing Chanel Bag with Dolce Vita Rio 8 Mary Jane Pumps,
Lauren Conrad Tiffanie Dress, and Simple Cardigan.

Leaving Warren Tricomi Hair Salon. Wearing Chanel Bag with Zooey Yoga Stripe Jersey Tank, J Brand Skinny Jeans, Dolce Vita Athens 38 Sandals, and Urban Outfitters Fedora.

In Los Angelos. Wearing Chanel Bag with Lauren Conrad Cindy Skirt, Teal Top,
and Steve Madden Lollipop Pumps.

At LAX. Wearing Changel Bag with Urban Outfitters Checkered Work Shirt, Ray Ban Wayfarers,
and Divine Rights Lust Skinny Jeans.

I have my go to bag but its definately NOT Chanel. :) But if only. At the moment its a complete mess and I'll have to organize it sometime this weekend. I try my best to keep things in their neat but somehow it just always gets messy again. :/

Anna Sui In Real Life

Anna Sui is a breath of fresh air in the designer world. I love her unique use of patterns and colors. She makes clothes than women love to wear. :)

You guys can only imagined that I was ecstatic when I heard about her affordable line for Target. :) Her line was inspired by the show Gossip Girl. Although I don't believe it is available at Targets anymore. Please correct me if I'm wrong. :)

Anyway, this woman makes amazing clothes for strong beautiful women. I'm not the only one who is a fan of her clothes. Miley Cyrus and Nicole Richie are often seen about town wearing some of Ms. Sui's designs.

Here are a few of my favorite looks. :)
Performing on Good Morning America wearing a dress from Anna Sui's 2009
Fall Ready To Wear Collection.

On the TV Show, El Hormiguero in Spain, wearing a jacket from Anna Sui's 2009
Fall Ready To Wear Collection.

At a luncheon honoring Gwyneth Paltrow, wearing a Teal Blue Anna Sui Dress.
About to watch Planet Earth with the parents and little sister. It's one of those rare occasions when we actually have a movie night. :)

I Smell Pretty

Hey, guys! :) I'm just got a few things from lush and I'm sooo excited. :)

I'm sitting in my bathroom right now, because quite frankly my bathroom smells like a lush store. But I like it that way. :)

I only got a few things. It wasn't a big spending trip or anything, I mean Christmas just happened. And not only do I have no money but I got enough stuff for Christmas.

The first soap I got was called Bohemian. *sigh* :) It's one of my favorites. According to Lush's website this soap is supposed to clear and refresh your mind. It has a lemony smell but the smells not overpowering at all.

Well, of course I got Honey I Washed the Kids. :) This soap smells soooo good, very much like honey. Although the last time I ordered Honey online it smelled....playdough-y? It was really weird and that's maybe why I don't like to order online. But maybe it was a one0time thing. If you've ever order online from LUSH, were the products weird smelling. Hmmm...I don't know. :)

From now on, I will have to buy this soap whenever I go to LUSH. :) It smells like a nice bouquet of roses. It's called Ring of Roses and I find myself just sitting there and smelling it. I feel so weird. :) But, oh well.

I want to expand my "LUSH Soap Collection" and so if you have a favorite LUSH product, please tell me what it is. Whenever I go into a LUSH store I get so overwhelmed by all the different products, I have a hard time finding new products. :) Please Comment and Follow! :D
